Title: Poetry
I think poetry might save us, it is perhaps our most important legacy and gift to our progeny since it integrates feelings and reason carrying a message of our experiences of pain and happiness and our will to survive in life. Poetry in deed shows the best of us
I don't know what you think poetry is going to save us from, but it's not always flowers and candy. Poetry can be very dark and disturbing. While it does indeed carry a message of our experiences of pain as well as happiness, it doesn't always show the best of us. Sometimes, poetry shows the worst of human capability. Not in lyrical content, but in depravity of the mind.
