grow and be kind
I feel as though the cell phone companies are expanding their product capabilities too far. You would be hard-pressed to find a decent cell phone connection from any of the leading providers these days. While they add e-mail, internet browsing, games, music, and who knows what else to our phones, we are constantly dealing with basic technical problems that the technicians can never seem to fix. The problem is, the introduction of cell phones was so revolutionary, it changed our entire outlook on personal communication and availability. The consumers simply rely too much on the product to mind the faulty service. Such is the economics of elasticity:We need the product and demand remains high, despite a lack of intelligent necessary reforms. I would be ecstatic if I could rely on my phone not to drop calls and cut out constantly, but sadly I cannot. I can still browse the internet though, thank god for that.
