Title: Social Statistics

The history of Social Statistics couldn’t be better written and explained than in the book by Bernard Cohen “The Triumph of numbers”.

The story is told through individual cases. Every case is well chosen and described with elaborated work and detail. A chapter about the founding fathers tell us about the importance of Social Statistics in their thought and remind us also that Benjamin Franklin was more complex, and Thomas Jefferson was more dangerous, than what we have read from them in our history books.
