Title: Voice Recognition Software
The days of monotonous typing may finally be coming to a close. In the past, voice recognition software has remained somewhat of a joke because although it could technically perform its desired function, it would do so rather poorly. This function, for those who are unaware, is to convert auditory commands into logical performance on the computer. Its most common usage is for word processing because so many people use it everyday. Recent versions of VRS have become inceasingly popular, and effective. This is due in part to the advent of broadband internet, allowing companies to retrieve useful information from their programs. This feedback allowed companies like Nuance to correct mistakes and work to eliminate trouble areas in their programs. The VRS on the market now is made to recognize a single user's voice and become more attuned to that voice over time. This means that the software will become more accurate with increased use.
