Title: Cure for AIDS
There is a man in the middle east claiming that he has found the cure for aids. From what I have heard from other people he has gone to Africa and has cure about 30 people and needs 100 to publish his research. He is looking for more test subjects and is finding it difficult for people to trust him. Also he infected himself with the virus 3 times and has cured himself 3 times. Has anyone heard anything about this?
The truth is, he is the President of Gambia, and he is telling everyone he has a cure for AIDS, but won't submit his methods for global approval. It may be that he has a cure, but the way he is acting raises a few red flags in my book. It seems like he could be doing it as a political stunt to stay in power.
I guess this blog is in the wrong section then isn't it. Maybe he does have it and just want to keep the profits for his country. Revealing the methods may allow for duplication by other countries. IE. America.
I think he could make a nice settlement for the duplication of his cure with the United States. Deciding against this is telling the world that he doesn't care if any other countries suffer from AIDS, he is only interested in saving his own people.
This may be true. He may only care fir his people, or perhaps it is something else. Not to sound like a conspirator but, what if he is holding this secret because without it his life is useless. What stops another country from killing him and saying that his claim to have the cure was false, then years later release their own cure. No one will believe him unless his work is published, and this what he is striving for before giving it to the world.
